It uses this information to keep track of the perforation and the top of the form. Switch 2-5--The LQ-1500 automatically leaves a top and bottom margin of 1/2 inch on each page if switch 2-5 is in the up position. The switch tells the printer to skip over each perforation so that nothing is printed on top of the perforation. This is especially useful for printing long program listings.
