Telnet banner and switchname are not consistent after a new switchname is defined without doing multiple hafailover commands. Can also occur after a standby CP is replaced where the new CP hosts file does not get synchronized with active CP without two hafailover commands. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 Workaround prior to upgrade: Use the "hostname xyz" command when a "switchname xyz" is used. Also, this issue does not occur with SSH as it does not use the banner. In a rare occurrence, HA synchronization is lost after a switch with trunk ports panics and manual reboot was needed to recover, due to race condition with trunk ports dropping Exchange Fabric Parameter (EFP) response.
