Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
Switch does not broadcast Unsolicited FIP Discovery Advertisements. If
the CNA expects UAs from the FCF even if the solicited advertisement
had the
D
bit set, it will logout of the FCF after about 20 seconds.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0

Solution
Closed defect summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0a
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Use slotpoweroff/on the FCoE10-24
to clear the faulty state.
As a result of firmwaredownload, systemverifcation test, or blade inser-
tion, occasionally 10/24 FCoE blade may turn faulty 21.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0a
In FICON environment, FRU events are not generated on the operator's
console for removal or insertion.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0a
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Re-enable Lossless / IOD on logical
switches that were previously
enabled.
Rare corner case of Lossless DLS being disabled after several downgrade
and upgrade scenarios. A DC SAN Backbone director logical switch
with port based routing, IOD (In-Order Delivery), DLS, and LosslessDLS
enabled running Fabric OS 6.3.0b was updated to 6.4.0, and Lossless
DLS gets disabled.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0a
With FMS enabled, after moving all ICL and 254 FC ports into a logical
switch with zero based addressing, port 1/0 (area 00) is incorrectly
disabled.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0a
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Remove the condition / cause of the
excessive CRC errors (that is, replace
cable or SFP).
Data encryption, name server fails to show the existence of a specific
virtual initiator. As a result of an external FC port experiencing an ex-
cessive number of encoding CRC errors the internal ports are faulted
incorrectly by switch firmware, hence a data encryption virtual initiator
associated with the internal port fails to appear in name server.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0a
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Use CLI (or ECFM for non-TI/Redirect
zones) in IM2/IM3.
Unexpected reboot and failover when attempting to push zone DB from
DCFM in IM2/IM3 fabrics.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0a
In FICON environment, NSD panic while running IRNDUP to 4/256
SAN director due to missing interrupt (IFCC).
