Upgrading from the CLI This section uses a two-member IRF fabric as an example to describe how to upgrade software from the CLI. If you have more than two subordinate switches, repeat the steps for the subordinate switch to upgrade their software. If you are upgrading a standalone switch, ignore the steps for upgrading the subordinate switch. For more information about setting up and configuring an IRF fabric, see the installation guide and IRF configuration guide for the HP 6125 Blade switch series. Preparing for the upgrade Before you upgrade software, complete the following tasks: 1. Log in to the IRF fabric through Telnet or the console port (details not shown). 2.
