Removing the power backplane

6. Remove the screws securing the SAS hard drive cage. 7. Slowly pull the SAS hard drive cage out of the server until there is enough room to reach behind the SAS hard drive cage. 8. Disconnect all cables from the back of the SAS hard drive cage ("Hot-plug SAS and SATA hard drive cabling" on page 96). 9. Remove the mounting screws, and pull the SAS backplane from the rear of the cage. To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure. Removing the power backplane 1.
