Remove the Phillips M1.6 × 1.6 screw, 4G WWAN module.

1. Remove the tape from the connectors on the module (1). 2. Loosen the two captive screws from the right fan (2). 3. Carefully disconnect the antenna cables from the connectors on the module (3). 4. Peel the gray conductive tape off the module (4). You can leave the tape connected to the connector. 5. Remove the Phillips M1.6 × 1.6 screw (5), and then pull the module out from under the plastic that extends over it from the thermal module (6). NOTE: 4G WWAN modules come with a reusable bracket. Be sure to use this bracket when installing a 4G WWAN module. 6.
