Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 33). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 33). 3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 42). 4. Remove the system board (see System board and audio jack on page 50). Remove the antenna barrel: 1. Remove the three rubber plugs from the barrel (1). 2. Remove the five Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (2) that secure the antenna barrel to the computer. NOTE: Three of the screws are removed vertically. Two of the screws are removed horizontally. 3. Peel up the orange cable that covers the barrel (3). 4. Remove the antenna barrel cables, from the left and right ends of the barrel, from the clips along the top of the computer (4). NOTE: If orange Mylar covers each hinge, gently pull up to release the Mylar. 5. Remove the antenna barrel from the computer (5). Remove the antenna barrel:
1.
Remove the three rubber plugs from the barrel

NOTE:
Three of the screws are removed vertically. Two of the screws are removed horizontally.
3.
Peel up the orange cable that covers the barrel

4.
Remove the antenna barrel cables, from the left and right ends of the barrel, from the clips along the top
of the computer

NOTE:
If orange Mylar covers each hinge, gently pull up to release the Mylar.
5.
Remove the antenna barrel from the computer

Reverse this procedure to install the antenna barrel.
