Types of memory Volatile memory The product utilizes 128 MB of volatile memory (SDRAM) used for temporary storage during the process of jobs, and for applications running on the operating system. When the printer is powered off, the memory is erased. Non-volatile memory The product utilizes 1.1 GB of non-volatile memory (EEPROM, Flash) containing the boot code and factory product configuration data required for the device to function.
