General information and tips Please read this information before starting to load paper into the printer: ● Wear gloves when handling paper, to avoid getting fingerprints and other marks on the paper. Wear cotton gloves when handling photo paper, to avoid transferring oils onto the paper. ● All paper rolls must be between 279 mm (11 in) and 1016 mm (40 in) wide, and the roll core must be 76 mm (3 in) in diameter. ● Each drawer can be loaded with two paper rolls (front and rear). ● 3920, 4200, 4700, 5200 printer series: Your printer has one or two drawers: the second may be purchased as an accessory. The roll positions are numbered 1 and 2 in the top drawer, 3 and 4 in the bottom drawer. ● 8200 Printer: Your printer has up to three drawers: the second and third may be purchased as accessories. The roll positions are numbered 1 and 2 in the top drawer, 3 and 4 in the middle drawer, 5 and 6 in the bottom drawer. ● The roll numbers are displayed on the front of each drawer and on the roll hubs. ● Each drawer has lights to communicate its status: Drawer roll icon light - Off: The roll has paper, or there is no roll. - On (orange): The roll is running out of paper. - On (red): The roll is out of paper.
