Display assembly Description 13.3-inch, WXGA BrightView display assembly (includes camera/microphone module, camera/ microphone module cable, 2 microphones, and 3 wireless antenna transceivers and cables) Spare part number 468806-001 Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 32). 5. Disconnect the wireless antenna cables from the WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 34). 6. Remove the following components: a. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 42) b. Switch cover (see Switch cover on page 44) c. Top cover (see Top cover on page 45) Remove the display assembly: 1. Close the computer. 2. Turn the computer upside down, with the rear panel toward you. 3. Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws (1) that secure the display assembly to the computer. 50 Chapter 4 Removal and replacement procedures

Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps:

Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the following components:

Remove the display assembly:
