D Glossary composite audio/video-An audio/video transmission type that provides improved video quality over RF coaxial. Can be used instead of RF coaxial in setups that use a cable or satellite set-top box. A composite audio/video cable is provided. Digital Video Recorder-See TV tuner. dual-tuner connection-A setup in which your TV source is split into two outputs and then connected to the TV tuner. This allows you to record two live TV programs at once, or watch one live TV program and record another, on your notebook. See also single-tuner connection. FM tuner-An FM radio device integrated on the TV tuner. Allows you to listen to FM radio broadcasts on your notebook. infrared (IR) lens-A device on your set-top box that receives infrared signals from your remote. Media Center-A version of the Microsoft Windows XP operating system that is enhanced for home entertainment. Used with the HP Dual TV Tuner/Digital Video Recorder to enable you to watch and record television and listen to FM radio on your notebook. RF coaxial cables are used to connect your TV source to the TV tuner. set-top box-A device that enables your television to receive cable or satellite broadcasts.
