Web Tools Management Station Requirements Web Browsers Web Tools supports the following browsers; however, each must be configured separately to work with the GUI. NOTE: Netscape 6.x and Internet Explorer 6.x are not supported in this release. • Netscape Communicator 4.77 on Solaris • Internet Explorer 5.5 IMPORTANT: Due to decreasing customer demand, and an increasing number of significant technical incompatibilities, the Netscape browser running on the Windows operating system is no longer supported for use with Web Tools. Java Plug-in The following Java Plug-ins must be installed on the workstation where you will run Web Tools: • For Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0: Java Plug-in version 1.2.2_008 is recommended, but versions 1.2.2_005, 1.2.2_006, 1.2.2_007, and 1.3.1_04 are also compatible. • For Solaris: Java Plug-in version 1.3.1_04 is recommended, but 1.2.2_02 is also compatible, including the Java Plug-in patch created by Sun Microsystems for Solaris.
