Connect the switch to the fabric through an ISL cable. Once the switch is connected to the fabric, the zone configuration information for the fabric will automatically copy to the switch. 8. Important Information Regarding the HP System/e Rack Mounting Hardware HP highly recommends installing the switch in the optional System/e Rack using only the hardware supplied with the rack. For example, when installing the two inner rails on either side of the switch, you must use the six #8-32 x 5/16 Phillips pan-head screws, and #8 flat washers as specified in the hp StorageWorks SAN Switch 2/32 Installation Guide. The #8 flat washer shortens the #8-32 x 5/16 Phillips pan-head screw so that it does not interfere with the internal components of the switch.
