Cabling This section describes cabling options for high-availability multipathing configurations for EVA storage systems. Level 4 NSPOF configuration Figure 67 through Figure 71 show cabling options when implementing a level 4, high-availability, NSPOF configuration. Figure 67 shows the physical connections for a cross-cable, high-availability NSPOF configuration for EVA3000/5000 VCS 3x storage systems using two separate fabrics. This cabling is the same cabling scheme used for HP Continuous Access EVA. You can upgrade to an HP Continuous Access EVA solution without needing to re-cable controller connections.
