• Minimum of one HP Command View EVA server (EVA) or one MSA ACI/ASU (MSA) • Minimum of one host • Minimum of two HBAs per host or one dual-channel HBA per host NOTE: Long-distance asynchronous remote mirroring requires an additional domain at the other site and sufficient IP-based bandwidth between sites. See Table 137 for network requirements for asynchronous replication. For more information, see Level 4: multiple fabrics and device paths (NSPOF) on page 56. Fabric rules HP SVSP is supported in SAN fabrics with B-series or C-series switches. For Fibre Channel switch support, see "B-series switches and fabric rules" on page 93 and "C-series Fibre Channel and FCoE switches and fabric rules" on page 135. NOTE: HP SVSP only supports Fibre Channel to Fibre Channel switching when using multiprotocol routers, Multiprotocol Services Modules, and Multiservice Modules. Other interfaces, such as IP, are not supported as an SVSP transport. Storage rules The following HP arrays are supported by HP SVSP: • EVA3000/5000 • EVA4000/4100/4400 • EVA6000/6100 • EVA8000/8100 • EVA6400/8400 • HSG80 (data import only) • MSA1000 • MSA1500 • MSA2000 • MSA2000fc G2 (MSA2300fc) • MSA2000fc NOTE: SVSP does not support LUNs presented to iSCSI hosts. For information about supported vendor arrays, contact an authorized HP representative. SAN Design Reference Guide 273
