Fabric OS 6.2.0c fixes The following table lists defects closed in the Fabric OS 6.2.0c firmware release. Table 12 Fabric OS 6.2.0c closed defects Closed defect summary Solution When port locked as G_Port, 8-Gb device may connect at 4 Gb rather than 8 Gb. Workaround prior to upgrade: Lock the switch port to 8 Gb, rather than rely on auto-negotiation. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c Occasionally during the firmware upgrade process, the 1250 processor is still rebooting when FCR routes are being processed, which results in missing FCR routes and an inability to route traffic across VEX ports. This leads to I/O running through VEX ports to be dropped after firmware upgrade. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c VI to PT routes are deleted following portdisable/portenable on HP StorageWorks SAN Director 48 Port FC blade. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c RSCN transmitted by the switch did not transmit all the port IDs in the Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c payload after HPF key on or off. When Top Talkers is enabled with frame redirection, HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director can crash causing data encryption backup to fail. Workaround prior to upgrade: Do not enable Top Talkers concurrently with functionality that is using frame redirection. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c Stable working encryption group experienced a split after successful I/O test run, and encryption group leader got a comm error. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c Encryption group does not automatically recover after encountering a Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c split group condition. When performing first time encryption to a LUN with more than one initiator active at the same time, rekey operations slow significantly, causing host applications to experience delays in the completion of I/O requests. Workaround prior to upgrade: 1. Disable the target ports. 2. Remove one initiator from the container. 3. Start the rekey operation. 4. Add the initiator back. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c Software verify errors and IFCCs occurred during supportsave on HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director and on HP StorageWorks DC04 SAN Director Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c Chassisinfo is not provided with snmpv1 without adding and configuring an snmpv3 user. The first 6 objects in the system MIB are missing, corresponding to the Error: no such object entries in the HiTrack system table. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c VIs/VTs may disappear when rebooting the HP StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch that has all physical connections to targets and initi- Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.0c ators. 48
