Hard Disk Drive Support The server system provides two SKUs to support different types of Hard Disk Drives (HDD):  H2312xx : Supports 12x 3.5" HDD  H2216xx : Supports 16x 2.5" HDD 5.1 Hard Disk Drive Bays Scheme The server system H2000 chassis can support up to twelve carrier-mounted SATA/SAS 3.5-inch hard disk drives, or sixteen carrier-mounted SATA/SAS 2.5" hard disk drives. The drives may be "electrically" hot-swapped while the system power is applied, but you must take caution before hot-swapping while the system is functioning under operating system/application control or data may be lost. The server system provides two SKUs to support different types of Hard Disk Drives (HDD):
H2312xx : Supports 12x 3.5" HDD
H2216xx : Supports 16x 2.5" HDD

Hard Disk Drive Bays Scheme
The server system H2000 chassis can support up to twelve carrier-mounted SATA/SAS 3.5-inch
hard disk drives, or sixteen carrier-mounted SATA/SAS 2.5" hard disk drives. The drives may be
“electrically” hot
-swapped while the system power is applied, but you must take caution before
hot-swapping while the system is functioning under operating system/application control or data
may be lost.
