SECTION 8-SERVICE PROCEDURES 5. Run the chain around the bottom of the wheel sprocket and back up towards the hand crank sprocket. 6. Attach the chain together using the master link (w/clip) provided. 7. To tension chain, refer to Refer to Replacing the Fork/Crank Assembly on page 46. Loosen, but DO NOT remove the clamp that secure the crank handles to the fork. 2. Slide the crank handles up and/or down until the proper tension on the chain is achieved. NOTE: The proper chain tension will be approximately ½‐inch of chain slack. NOTE: If crank is in desired position but chain tension is not correct, links MUST be added to or removed from the chain to correct the tension. This should be performed by a qualified technician. 3.
