Receiver Operations Normal playback Some preparatory steps are needed before starting playback. POWER ON/STANDBY ON/STANDBY INPUT SELECTOR Listening to a source component INPUT SELECTOR RCV Mode POWER RCVR Input Mode Input selector keys VOLUME CONTROL Input selector keys VOL ʴ / ʵ Turning on the receiver 1 Turn on the power to the related components. 2 Turn on the power to this receiver by pressing the POWER ON/STANDBY or the ON/STANDBY key (or the POWER RCVR key). ÷ After turning off a power supply, the POWER ON/STANDBY or the ON/STANDBY key is not effective for 3 seconds. Selecting the input mode If you have selected a component connected to the COAX 1 (DVD), COAX 2 (VIDEO 1), OPT 1 (VIDEO 2), OPT 2 (AUX) or DIGITAL IN (OPTICAL) jacks, make sure that the input mode setting is correct for the type of audio signal to be used. 9 1 Press the INPUT SELECTOR key (or the Input selector keys/ DVD, VID1, VID2, AUX, F.AUX, Game, TUNER, Network Server or Memory Card) to select the source. 1 "TUNER" 2 "DVD" 3 "VIDEO1" 4 "VIDEO2" 5 "GAME" 6 "F.AUX" 7 "AUX" 8 "NET SERVER" 9 "MEMORY CARD" ÷ When the "NET SERVER" or "MEMORY CARD" input is selected, the OSD function on the TV screen is activated and detection of the server starts.
