IMAGE QUALITY ADJUSTMENT
3.1
Image quality adjustment for Image Controller IC-602
About Quality Adjustment
To maintain stable color quality against a change in ambient temperature or humidity, a change of this machine
conditions, or a change of the color tone due to the paper type or print mode, perform the image quality adjustment
at periodic intervals.
After you understand the image quality adjustment flow (timing, method, and order), perform a necessary adjustment.
When the
image controller IC-602
is installed to this machine, there are 4 types of image quality adjustment flows as
follows.
NOTICE
When the "Regular adjustment flow (Standard)" and the "Regular adjustment flow (High accuracy)" are performed at
the same time, perform the "Regular adjustment flow (High accuracy)" before the "Regular adjustment flow
(Standard)".
Regular adjustment flow (Standard)
)
Adjustment timing
Perform the adjustment for each combination of the screen and paper type on the following timing.
-
When 30 minutes elapse after you activate the power of the machine
-
When 6 hours elapse from the previous adjustment
-
When 1,000 to 2,000 sheets have been printed after the previous adjustment
Tips
For the combination of the screen and the paper type that will not be used for a long time, perform the adjustment
before the job.

Regular adjustment flow (High
accuracy)
Every day, 30 minutes after you activate the power of
the machine (when you require a high accuracy color
reproduction)
Before you output a job that the color is important
When you are not satisfied with the color stability
(want to improve the reproducibility)
