Installation VCR Setup - To avoid picture noise (interference), leave an adequate distance between the VCR and TV. - Avoid having a fixed image remain on the screen for a long period of time. If the 4:3 picture format is used; the fixed images on the sides of the screen may remain visible on the screen. When connecting with an antenna TV Back R AUDIO L (MONO) VIDEO S-VIDEO MONITOR OUT AV1 COMPONENT1 R L AUDIO INPUT VIDEO INPUT HDMI/DVI Antenna 2 ANT IN ANT OUT S-VIDEO OUT (R) AUDIO (L) VIDEO IN VCR 1 1 Connect the RF out socket of the VCR to the Antenna socket on the set. 2 Connect the antenna cable to the RF antenna socket of the VCR. 3 Press the PLAY button on the VCR and match the appropriate programme between the TV and VCR for viewing. When connecting with an RCA cable R AUDIO L (MONO) VIDEO S-VIDEO MONITOR OUT AV1 COMPONENT1 R L AUDIO INPUT VIDEO INPUT TV Back 1 ANT IN ANT OUT S-VIDEO OUT (R) AUDIO (L) VIDEO IN VCR 1 Connect the AUDIO/VIDEO jacks between TV and VCR. Match the jack colours (Video = yellow, Audio Left = white, and Audio Right = red). 2 Insert a video tape into the VCR and press PLAY on the VCR. (Refer to the VCR owner's manual.) 3 Select AV1 input source with using the INPUT button on the remote control. - If connected to AV2 input, select AV2 input source. When connecting with an S-Video cable R AUDIO L (MONO) VIDEO S-VIDEO MONITOR OUT AV1 COMPONENT1 R L AUDIO INPUT VIDEO INPUT 1 2 TV Back ANT IN ANT OUT S-VIDEO OUT (R) AUDIO (L) VIDEO IN VCR 14 1 Connect the S-VIDEO output of the VCR to the SVIDEO input on the set. The picture quality is improved; compared to normal composite (RCA cable) input. 2 Connect the audio outputs of the VCR to the AUDIO INPUT jacks on the set. 3 Insert a video tape into the VCR and press PLAY on the VCR. (Refer to the VCR owner's manual.) 4 Select AV1 input source with using the INPUT button on the remote control. - If connected to AV2 input, select AV 2 input source. Do not connect to both Video and S-Video at the same time. In the event that you connect both Video and the S-Video cables, only the S-Video will work.

Connect the RF out socket of the VCR to the
Antenna
socket on the set.
Connect the antenna cable to the RF antenna
socket of the VCR.
Press the
PLAY
button on the VCR and match the
appropriate programme between the TV and VCR
for viewing.
