Installation Cable TV Setup - After subscribing for a local cable TV station and installing a converter you can watch cable TV. - For further information of cable TV, contact the local cable TV station. When connecting with an RCA cable TV Back R AUDIO L (MONO) VIDEO S-VIDEO MONITOR OUT AV1 COMPONENT1 R L AUDIO INPUT VIDEO INPUT 1 1 Connect the AUDIO/VIDEO jacks between TV and Cable Box. Match the jack colours (Video = yellow, Audio Left = white, and Audio Right = red) 2 Select AV1 input source with using the INPUT button on the remote control. 3 Select programmes with the cable box remote control. S-VIDEO VIDEO (R) AUDIO (L) TV VCR Cable TV When connecting with an S-Video cable TV Back R AUDIO L (MONO) VIDEO S-VIDEO MONITOR OUT AV1 COMPONENT1 R L AUDIO INPUT VIDEO INPUT 1 2 S-VIDEO VIDEO (R) AUDIO (L) TV VCR Cable TV 1 Connect the S-VIDEO output of the Cable Box to the S-VIDEO input on the set. The picture quality is improved; compared to normal composite (RCA cable) input. 2 Connect the audio outputs of the Cable Box to the AUDIO jacks on the set. 3 Select AV1 input source with using the INPUT button on the remote control. 4 Select programmes with the cable box remote control. Do not connect to both Video and S-Video at the same time. In the event that you connect both Video and the S-Video cables, only the S-Video will work.) 15
