Contacts in Your Phone's Memory Searching Your Phone's Memory The VX8100 phone is able to perform a dynamic search of the contents in your phone's memory. A dynamic search compares entered letters or numbers against the entries in your Contacts. A matching list is displayed in ascending order. You can then select a number from the list to call or edit. There are several ways to search: G Scrolling Alphabetically G Searching by Letter Scrolling Through Your Contacts 1. Press Right Soft Key [Contacts]. Contacts list is displayed alphabetically. 2. Use to scroll through the list. Making a Call From Your Phone's Memory Once you have stored phone numbers into your Contacts, you can place calls to those numbers quickly and easily. G Press after you have searched for a phone number in Contacts or Recent Calls. G Use Speed Dialing (see page 29). From Contacts 1. Press Right Soft Key [Contacts]. 2. Use to select the Contact entry then press . 3. Use 4. Press to select the phone number. to place the call. Searching by Letter 1. Press Right Soft Key [Contacts]. Searching Your Phone’s Memory
The VX8100 phone is able to perform a dynamic search of
the contents in your phone’s memory. A dynamic search
compares entered letters or numbers against the entries in
your Contacts. A matching list is displayed in ascending
order. You can then select a number from the list to call or
edit. There are several ways to search:

Making a Call From Your Phone’s Memory
Once you have stored phone numbers into your Contacts,
you can place calls to those numbers quickly and easily.
Press
after you have searched for a phone
number in Contacts or Recent Calls.
Use Speed Dialing (see page 29).

NOTE
Pressing
will dial the Default Number of the
Contact entry. If multiple numbers are saved in the
