Using printer menus Paper Weight These menu items are used to set the paper weight for each of the defined media types. This allows the printer to optimize the print quality for the media weight. Menu item Plain Weight Transparency Weight Glossy Weight Labels Weight Bond Weight Envelope Weight Letterhead Weight Preprinted Weight Colored Weight Card Stock Purpose Identifies the relative weight of the media loaded in a specific source, and ensures the toner adheres properly to the printed page. Identifies the relative weight of the card stock loaded in a specific source. Custom Weight Identifies the relative weight of the custom paper loaded in a specific source.
