Using printer menus Menu item Hex Trace Purpose Helps isolate the source of a print job problem. Values Activate Coverage Estimator LCD Contrast Provides an estimate of the percent *Off coverage of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black on a page. The estimate On is printed on a separator page. Adjusts the contrast of the operator 1 - 10 (*5) panel display. PDF Menu Use these menu items to change printer settings that affect PDF jobs. Menu item Scale to Fit Purpose Scales page content to fit the selected media size. Note: Font Priority is only displayed when a formatted flash or hard disk is installed, is neither defective nor Read/Write or Write protected, and Job Buffer Size is not set to 100%. *Resident Flash/Disk Prints an error message before it discards the job. Discards the print job without printing an error message. Printer searches printer memory for the requested font before searching the flash memory or hard disk. Hex Trace
Helps isolate the source of a print
job problem.
Activate
With Hex Trace selected, all data sent
to the printer is printed in hexadecimal
