EtherFast Network Attached Storage (250GB with PrintServer) 7. If you do not have a DHCP server on your network, you can use the Network Attached Storage as your network's DHCP server. To use the Network Attached Storage as a DHCP server, select Enable DHCP Server. Then enter the range of IP addresses you want to assign on your network. The final fields of the Start and Finish IP Addresses can range from 2 to 253. • Enable DHCP Server. Select this feature only if you want the Network Attached Storage to assign IP addresses to your network devices. In most cases, you will not use this setting because you already have a network router or gateway assigning IP addresses. • Start IP Address. Enter the starting IP address of the range you want to assign. • Finish IP Address. Enter the last IP address of the range you want to assign.
