Basic Operation Adjusting the Volume The volume control is located at the top of the Magellan RoadMate. Use the thumbwheel to set the volume of the speaker to a desired level. See "Rear View" on page 5. Repeating the Last Command If you missed the last verbal command, you can repeat it by pressing the Repeat button. The Repeat button is located on the top of the Magellan RoadMate. See "Rear View" on page 5. Inputting Text Characters Whenever you need to input names, street addresses, etc., the Magellan RoadMate will display a keyboard. Touch the letter you want and, if you make a mistake, use the Backspace key to go back one character at a time. The Spacebar is used to insert spaces between characters or words. Repeating the Last Command
