Options Brightness Brightness determines how bright or dim the level of the display will be. Select Brightness. Select the left arrow to decrease the amount of brightness (make the display darker), or select the right arrow to increase the amount of brightness (make the display lighter). When you are finished, select Save. Display Options The Magellan RoadMate can be configured to automatically adjust the display. When the light sensor detects changes in light levels, it can automatically adjust the contrast and brightness of the display for optimum performance. With the automatic settings enabled, your manual settings will remain the same; however, the display will change, depending on the ambient light levels. If you wish to maintain your manual settings, do not enable Automatic Contrast or Automatic Brightness. Additionally, you can set the Magellan RoadMate to shut off automatically if no movement is detected for 20 minutes. Select Display Options. Select Automatic Brightness. Select Automatic Contrast. 93
