Assigning Speed Dial Numbers Editing a Contacts Entry Your phone can store up to 98 phone numbers in speed dial locations. (For details on how to make calls using speed dial numbers, see "Using Speed Dialing" on page 28.) Note Speed dial location 1 is reserved for Voicemail. To assign a speed dial number to an existing phone number: 1. From Contacts, highlight Add New. 2. Press Options (right softkey) > Speed Dial. 3. Select an available speed dial location and press Assign (right softkey). 4. Select a Contacts entry from the list and press S. Note If you attempt to assign an already in-use speed dial number to a new phone number, a dialog appears asking if you wish to replace the existing speed dial number. Press OK (left softkey) to assign the location to the new phone number delete the previous speed dial assignment. 1. Display a Contacts entry. 2. Press Options (right softkey) > Edit. 3. Select the information you wish to edit (Name, Group, Ringer, etc.) and press S. 4. Add or edit the information and press S. 5. Press Done (left softkey) to save your changes. 66 Section 2F. Assigning Speed Dial Numbers
Your phone can store up to 98 phone numbers in
speed dial locations. (For details on how to make calls
using speed dial numbers, see “Using Speed Dialing”
on page 28.)
To assign a speed dial number to an existing phone
number:
1.
From Contacts, highlight
Add New
.
2.
Press
Options
(right softkey) >
Speed Dial
.
3.
Select an available speed dial location and press
Assign
(right softkey).
4.
Select a Contacts entry from the list and press
S
.
Editing a Contacts Entry
1.
Display a Contacts entry.
2.
Press
Options
(right softkey) >
Edit
.
3.
Select the information you wish to edit (
Name
,
Group
,
Ringer
, etc.) and press

.

Add or edit the information and press

Note
