PFAFF® creative™ Color Touch Screen Thread tension/thread metering compensation If you Ànd that the thread tension/thread metering needs to be increased or decreased for most stitches or embroideries, you can change the general setting for embroidering and/or sewing. You may need to adjust the thread tension/thread metering controls if you regularly sew or embroider on special fabric or use specialty threads. Touch Thread tension/thread metering compensation. Adjust the slider bars to generally increase or decrease the thread tension/thread metering for all stitches and/or embroidery. Default setting is normal. Once you have increased or decreased the value in the Settings menu, the thread tension control icon or thread metering control icon will change to red. Note: Contact you authorized PFAFF® dealer if you experience thread tension/thread metering problems that cannot be helped with the Thread tension/thread metering compensation. ActivStitch™ Technology The ActivStitch™ Technology feature controls the needle thread in two ways: thread tension and thread metering. When activated, the machine will automatically use thread metering if possible. Depending on your other settings, the machine will automatically use thread tension in some cases, e.g., when free-motion is active. Certain optional accessories or special techniques may require the use of thread tension for best results. Deselect ActivStitch™ Technology to switch to thread tension. Thread tension/thread metering compensation
If you

for embroidering and/or sewing. You may need to
adjust the thread tension/thread metering controls
if you regularly sew or embroider on special fabric
or use specialty threads.

compensation. Adjust the slider bars to generally
increase or decrease the thread tension/thread

Once you have increased or decreased the value in

Note: Contact you authorized PFAFF® dealer if you
experience thread tension/thread metering problems that
cannot be helped with the Thread tension/thread metering
compensation.

The
ActivStitch™
Technology feature controls the
