ENGLISH Advanced Recording FRANÇAIS Perfectionnez vos enregistrements SHUTTER SPEED & EXPOSURE ✤ You can set SHUTTER SPEED only in CAMERA mode. ✤ The EXPOSURE function works in both CAMERA and M.REC modes. ✤ SHUTTER SPEED and EXPOSURE values can only be set in the Quick Menu. ✤ SHUTTER SPEED and EXPOSURE are automatically switched and/or deactivated. 1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode. 2. Turn the MENU DIAL until you see the ( ) icon, and then press the ENTER button. I You see a screen on which you can select SHUTTER SPEED and EXPOSURE. I Turn the MENU DIAL to select the item you want and then press the ENTER button. I SHUTTER SPEED can be set to 1/60, 1/100, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000 or 1/10000. I EXPOSURE can be set between 00 and 29. 3. To exit from the setting screen, select the icon ( ) and press the ENTER button. Recommended Shutter speeds when recording ✤ Outdoor sports such as golf or tennis : 1/2000 or 1/4000. ✤ Moving cars or trains or other rapidly moving vehicles such as roller coasters : 1/1000, 1/500 or 1/250 ✤ Indoor sports such as basketball : 1/100 Notes I If you want to use the selected shutter speed and exposure value, you should begin the recording with the shutter speed and the exposure adjustment screens displayed on the LCD. I If you manually change the shutter speed and the exposure value when Auto-exposure option is selected, manual changes are applied first. I The image may not seem as smooth when a high shutter speed is set. I The camcorder returns to the auto shutter setting and auto exposure setting when you set the NITE PIX to ON, or change to the EASY, SLOW SHUTTER modes. I When recording with a SHUTTER SPEED of 1/1000 or higher, make sure the sun is not shining into the lens. Vitesse d'obturation et exposition (SHUTTER SPEED & EXPOSURE) ✤ L'option SHUTTER SPEED fonctionne uniquement en mode caméscope. ✤ La fonction EXPOSURE est disponible en mode CAMERA et M.REC. ✤ Elles ne peuvent être modifiées qu'à partir du menu rapide (Quick). ✤ Ces fonctions sont automatiquement activées et/ou désactivées. 1. Réglez le caméscope sur CAMERA. 2. À l'aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez l'icône ( ) et appuyez sur la touche ENTER. I Les options SHUTTER SPEED et EXPOSURE s'affichent à l'écran. I À l'aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez l'option souhaitée et appuyez sur la touche ENTER. I Les vitesses disponibles sont les suivantes : 1/60, 1/100, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000 ou 1/10000. I Les valeurs d'exposition sont comprises entre 00 et 29. 3. Pour quitter le menu, sélectionnez l'icône ( ) et appuyez sur la touche ENTER. Vitesses d'obturation recommandées lors de l'enregistrement ✤ Sports d'extérieur comme le golf ou le tennis : 1/2000 ou 1/4000. ✤ Trains, voitures ou autres véhicules en mouvement (montagnes russes, par exemple) : 1/1000, 1/500 ou 1/250. ✤ Sports d'intérieur comme le basket-ball : 1/100. Important I Si vous souhaitez utiliser le réglage de vitesse d'obturation et d'exposition sélectionné, vous devez commencer votre enregistrement avec les réglages qui s'affichent à l'écran. I Si vous changez manuellement les valeurs de vitesse d'obturation et d'exposition lorsque l'option Auto-exposure est sélectionnée, le réglage manuel prévaut. I L'image risque de ne pas être lisse si vous utilisez une vitesse d'obturation élevée. I Le caméscope rétablit le paramètre d'obturation et d'exposition automatique si vous activez la fonction NITE PIX ou si vous passez en mode EASY ou SLOW SHUTTER. I Lors d'un enregistrement avec une vitesse d'obturation de 1/1 000 ou supérieure, vérifiez que le soleil ne brille pas dans l'objectif. 57
