Control panel overview 12 Control panel 4 Stop/Clear 5 Start 6 On Hook Dial 1 Address Book 2 Redial/Pause 3 Power Allows you to store frequently used fax numbers or search for stored fax numbers. Redials the last number in ready mode, or inserts a pause(-) into a fax number in edit mode. Turns the power on or off, or wakes up the machine from the power save mode. If you need to turn the machine off, press this button for more than three seconds. 7 One-touch dial 8 Left/Right Arrows 9 OK 10 Back 11 Status LED 12 Menu 13 Resolution 14 Receive Mode Stops an operations at any time. Starts a job. When you press this button, you can hear a dial tone. Then enter a fax number. It is similar to making a call using speaker phone. Stores frequently-dialed fax number (see "Onetouch dialing" on page 136). Scrolls through the options available in the selected menu and increases or decreases values. Confirms the selection on the display screen. Sends you back to the upper menu level. Indicates the status of your machine (see "Understanding the status LED" on page 85). Opens Menu mode and scrolls through the available menus (see "Menu overview" on page 29). Adjusts the resolution of the documents for the current fax job (see "Resolution" on page 56).
