To specify the length of time the Backlight is active, set the Backlight menu. See "Backlight" on page 93 for further details. External Display Your phone has an external display on the front of the phone. It indicates when you have an incoming call, a missed call, or a message. It also alerts you at a specified time when you have set an alarm. See "Alarm" on page 114 for further details. The Backlight turns on and the corresponding icon appears on the external display.
