Finding a Phone Book Entry You can store phone numbers and their corresponding names in your SIM card and phone's memories. They are physically separate but are used as a single entity, called Phone Book. Depending on your particular SIM card, the maximum number of phone numbers the SIM card can store may differ. 1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode. 2. Using the Navigation keys, scroll to the Phone Book icon. Press the Select soft key or the key to enter your Phone Book. 3. Highlight the Search option and press the Select soft key or the key. You are asked to enter a name. 4. Enter the first few letters of the name. The Phone Book entries are listed, starting with the first entry matching your input. 5. To view the highlighted entry, press the View soft key. 6. Press the key to dial the number, or press the Options soft key to access the Phone Book entry options. Storing a Number in the Phone's Memory 1. Finding a Phone Book Entry
You can store phone numbers and their corresponding
names in your SIM card and phone’s memories. They are
physically separate but are used as a single entity, called
Phone Book.
Depending on your particular SIM card, the maximum
number of phone numbers the SIM card can store may
differ.
1.
In Idle mode, press the
Menu
soft key to access Menu
mode.
2.
Using the Navigation keys, scroll to the
Phone Book
icon. Press the
Select
soft key or the
key to enter
your Phone Book.
3.
Highlight the
Search
option and press the
Select
soft
key or the
key. You are asked to enter a name.
4.
Enter the first few letters of the name.
The Phone Book entries are listed, starting with the first
entry matching your input.
5.
To view the highlighted entry, press the
View
soft key.
6.
Press the
key to dial the number, or press the
