Menu SETUP MENU This menu allows you to perform various settings depending on your circumstances to use the unit. Item Function Setting REC MODE To select a HQ: Records a high-quality recording mode picture. [SP]: Records in standard mode. LP: Records for a longer time. AUDIO MON CH To select a signal to be output from the MONITOR AUDIO connector on the rear panel LCH: Outputs the audio signal of audio channel 1. RCH: Outputs the audio signal of audio channel 2. [MIX]: Outputs a mixed audio signal from both channel 1 and channel 2. INPUT SELECT To select a [ANALOG]: Inputs the analog video and audio signal to the VIDEO IN or S- input signals VIDEO IN connector. iLINK: Inputs the digital signal to the DV IN (i.LINK) connector. REMOTE I/F To select an interface to use to control the unit [RS232C]: Controls the unit with equipment connected to the RS-232C connector (a protocol which is compatible with the SVO-9500MD Sony video cassette recorder protocol). i.LINK: Controls the unit with equipment connected to the DV IN (i.LINK) connector. USB: Controls the unit with equipment connected to the USB connector (a protocol which is compatible with the RS-232C protocol). KEYBOARD To select whether or not the keyboard of the RS-232C remote control device (not supplied) is to be activated ON: Uses the keyboard. [OFF]: Does not use the keyboard. Item Function Setting BAUDRATE To select a 9600 /[19200]/38400/57600/ communication 115200 speed (baud rate) when controlling the unit by equipment connected to the RS-232C connector FOOT SW To select the [LOW EDGE]: Starts operation to be recording, or pauses carried out recording during recording, when you press when you press the foot or release the switch. This menu allows you to perform various settings
