13-Specifications & Messages Messages The following popup messages alert you to conditions that may arise while you are using the unit. Consult this table if you see something you do not understand. Messages Empty Export Track File Not Found I/O Too Short Import File Not Found Import File Too Large In Bounce Mode In Master Mode In Repeat Mode Master Track Not Found Master Track Too Large Meaning and remedy You are trying to export a track ("Track import and export" on page 97) which does not have anythng recorded on it. Pick another tarck to eport. You are trying to restore a song when there are no backed-up songs on the FAT partition ("Song backup and restoration" on page 94). You are trying to enter repeat mode, but the time between the IN and OUT points is too short. Make the time longer. You are trying to import a WAV file from the FAT partition when there are no WAV files there ("Importing tracks" on page 97). Connect the unit to a PC and transfer some files to the FAT partition for import. You are trying to import a WAV file from the FAT partition that is too large for the remaining space on the partition. Free up some space on the (native) partion and try again. You tried to perform an action that cannot be done while in Bounce mode. You tried to perform an action that cannot be done while in Master mode. You tried to perform an action that cannot be done while in Repeat mode. You have tried to export a mastered mix track ("Exporting a stereo master" on page 100) when the song does not have one. Meaning and remedy
Empty Export Track
You are trying to export a track ("Track import and export" on page 97) which does not have anythng
recorded on it. Pick another tarck to eport.
File Not Found
You are trying to restore a song when there are no backed-up songs on the FAT partition ("Song backup and
restoration" on page 94).
I/O Too Short
You are trying to enter repeat mode, but the time between the IN and OUT points is too short. Make the time
longer.
Import File Not Found
You are trying to import a WAV file from the FAT partition when there are no WAV files there ("Importing tracks"
on page 97). Connect the unit to a PC and transfer some files to the FAT partition for import.
Import File Too Large
You are trying to import a WAV file from the FAT partition that is too large for the remaining space on the
partition. Free up some space on the (native) partion and try again.
In Bounce Mode
You tried to perform an action that cannot be done while in Bounce mode.
In Master Mode
You tried to perform an action that cannot be done while in Master mode.
In Repeat Mode
You tried to perform an action that cannot be done while in Repeat mode.
Master Track Not Found
You have tried to export a mastered mix track ("Exporting a stereo master" on page 100) when the song does
not have one. Master the song and then export the mix.
Master Track Too Large
You tried to export a master track which was too large for the remaining space on fthe FAT partition
("Exporting a stereo master" on page 100) . Connect the unit to a computer and free up some space on the
FAT partition.
