10-Editing Tracks NOTE If you choose the same track for both the SOURCE TRK and the DESTINATION TRK and press the F2 (EXEC) key, the "Same Track" message appears and the operation is cancelled. CLEAN OUT (track erase) CLEAN OUT TRK Select the track or tracks to erase. The choices are 1 to 4 (single track), 1/2, 3/4 (track pairs) and 1-4 (all tracks). After setting the parameter, press the F2 (EXEC) key to execute the edit. Press the F1 (BACK) key to return to the TRACK EDIT menu screen without editing. SILENCE (part erase) This completely erases the selected track. This erases the entire track, so the IN and OUT points have no effect. There is only one parameter. 88 TASCAM DP-004 This erases the selected track between the IN and OUT points. This has the same effect as recording a silent signal between the IN and OUT points. This operation does not change the track length.
