2 - Quick Start Guides OL indicator When you play the guitar, the input level is shown by the A (INPUT A) and 1 (TRACK 1) meters on the display. NOTE • You can use the TRACK 1 PAN knob to adjust the stereo position of the signal when monitoring. • The input signal cannot be monitored if the REC indicator of the TRACK 1 that it is assigned to is not lit. Recording guitar to TRACK 1 1 Press the playback (Á) key while pressing and holding the record (-) key to start recording. The TRACK 1 REC key stops blinking and stays lit constantly. Turn up the TRACK 1 LEVEL and MASTER LEVEL knobs and the VOLUME dial to hear the guitar sound through headphones. When doing so, the L and R meters on the right side of the display become active. TRACK 1 REC indicator You are recording. Play your guitar! 2 When you are finished, press the stop (ª) key to stop recording. 3 Press the TRACK 1 REC key again. Its light turns off. Listening to your recording 1 To go to the beginning of the song, press the Ô key while pressing and holding the stop (ª) key. (This is the Return To Zero (RTZ) function) 2 Press the playback (Á) key to play the recorded track. 3 Use the TRACK 1 LEVEL knob and the MASTER LEVEL knob to adjust the playback level.
