8 - Editing Tracks •• OPEN TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 1-8, ALL) •• IN/OUT CUT (remove part) IN OUT IN This function cuts (deletes) the audio data between the IN and OUT points on the selected track, and shifts the remaining recording after the OUT point forward to the IN point. Therefore, the track becomes shorter. The following parameters are used in this operation. •• CUT TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 1-8, ALL) •• IN/OUT SILENCE (part erase) IN OUT This function cuts (deletes) the audio data between the IN and OUT points on the selected track, leaving silence between the IN and OUT points, as though there had been no recording. This operation does not change the length of the track. The following parameters are used in this operation. •• SILENCE TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 1-8) •• IN/OUT TIP Using this function, you can delete short noises, for example.
