Example Set the VLAN 6 as IP management VLAN: T1500-28PCT(config)# ip management-vlan 6 ip address Description The ip address command is used to configure the system IP address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway. To restore to the factory defaults, please use no ip address command. This command should be configured in the Interface Configuration Mode of the management VLAN. Syntax ip addre ss {ip-addr} {ip-mask} [gateway] no ip address Parameter ip-addr -- The system IP of the switch. The default system IP is 192.168.0.1. ip-mask -- The Subnet Mask of the switch. The default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. gateway -- The Default Gateway of the switch. By default, it is empty. Command Mode Interface Configuration Mode (interface vlan) Example Configure the system IP as 192.168.0.69 and the Subnet Mask as 255.255.255.0 when the management VLAN of the switch is VLAN1: T1500-28PCT(config)# interface vlan 1 T1500-28PCT(config-if)# ip address 192.168.0.69 255.255.255.0 ip address-alloc dhcp Description The ip address-alloc dhcp command is used to enable the DHCP Client function. When this function is enabled, the switch will obtain IP from DHCP server. This command should be configured in the Interface Configuration Mode of the management VLAN. 71
