146 Advanced Disc Playback Customizing disc playback 3 Use the Channel Number buttons (0-9) to input the current password. If the password has not been set yet, key in "0000." This is the factory default password. 4 Use the Channel Number buttons (0-9) to input the new password. You will be prompted to confirm the new password. 5 Use the Channel Number buttons (0-9) to input the new password again. 6 Note this new password for future reference. If you forget the system password: 1 Make sure there is no disc in the disc slot. 2 Press and hold down the VOLUME (-) button on the TV control panel, and then press the number 4 button on the remote control for a few seconds. The "Initializing" message appears on-screen to indicate that the password has been reset to its default factory setting "0000." All DVD Setup related settings will also be reset to their default factory values. Spdif Output (Digital Out) Select the sound format of the digital output depending on the enabled signal connection. ❖ Spdif/Raw: Select this option to output the signal in its native format. ❖ Spdif/Pcm: Changes Dolby® Digital output to PCM. Select this option when using a two-channel digital stereo amplifier. NOTE MPEG audio will always be in PCM format regardless of the Digital Output setting.
