TV operation Tuner setting This unit is equipped with a channel memory feature which allows channels to skip up or down to the next channel set into memory, skipping over unwanted channels. Before selecting channels, they must be programmed into the unit's memory. In addition to normal VHF and UHF channels, this unit can receive up to 113 Cable TV channels. To use this unit with an antenna, set the TV/CATV menu option to the TV mode. When shipped from the factory, this menu option is in the CATV mode. 1,4 1,3 1-2 TV/CATV selection Setting channels automatically Preparation: • Press TV/VCR to select the TV/VCR mode. 1 Press MENU. ENTER CH SETUP TV CATV AUTO CH MEMORY ADD/DELETE 3 Then press ENTER. The unit will begin memorizing all the channels available in your area. Channel numbers will remain red until auto memorizing is complete. ENTER AUTO CH 002 TV - VHF/UHF channels CATV - CABLE TV channels 〈 / /ENTER/MENU〉 4 Press MENU repeatedly until the menu screen is cleared. MENU SETUP Notes: • If a station being viewed stops broadcasting, the TV will automatically shut itself off after 15 minutes. • You can't select "CH SETUP" if you set the channel to "LINE1" or "LINE2". 4 Press MENU repeatedly until the MENU screen is cleared.
