Additional E-mail Features Scan Presets Scanned images are a compromise between image quality (resolution) and file size. This feature enables you to select the optimum settings according to how the scanned image will be used with just one button press. The options are: Preset Sharing and Printing High Quality Archival Record OCR Simple Scan Custom Output A medium quality scan and file size Use to produce a high quality image on photos and halftones Produces small file size for electronic storage High image quality to enable the use of Optical Character Recognition applications A low quality scan for a smaller file size Individual options selected by the user.
