1-6 In Brief Swing-gate (H3) To lock or unlock the swing‐gate, use the power door lock switch or the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. 2. Lift up slightly on the entire tailgate assembly. Remove the retaining cables from both sides of the pickup box by pulling the clips away from the bolt heads while pushing the cable bracket forward. When the larger part of the hole on the bracket is over the bolt, slide the bracket off of the bolt. 3. With the tailgate partially down, lift up on the passenger's side and pull the tailgate toward you, then move the tailgate to the right to release the driver's side. Windows To open the swing‐gate, use the door handle to pull the swing-gate rearward slightly so it opens automatically. See Tailgate on page 2‑7. On vehicles with power windows, the switches are on the driver door armrest. The passenger door has a switch that controls only that window. Press the front of the switch to open the window. Pull the switch up to close it. For more information, see Power Windows on page 2‑16.
