3-34 Seats and Restraints If damage to the vehicle is minor, you may attempt to restart the vehicle's engine. Note: If the fuel system has been shut off after an airbag has inflated, you may not be able to restart the engine for up to ten minutes. See Starting the Engine on page 9‑35 for more information. In many crashes severe enough to inflate the airbag, windshields are broken by vehicle deformation. Additional windshield breakage may also occur from the right front passenger airbag. .
