After
cleaning,
saturate
the
element
with
a
biodegradable foam air filter oil,
squeeze out
the excess,
then wrap it in a clean rag and
squeeze it as dry as possible.
Be careful not to
tear the element.
Remove the towel from the inlet tract.
Install the element in the air cleaner housing to
avoid the edges of the element from turning over.
Clamp the air cleaner housing cover securely.
Install the mud guard plate and the seat.
NOTE
°
The element is sealed at its front end with the air
cleaner housing. The sealing efficiency of the el-
ement may deteriorate if the edges of the element
are turned over during installation.

Also be sure to install the seal between the ele-
ment and the air cleaner housing.
Dust, Oil and/or Water Inspection
Remove the drain cap on the bottom of the air
cleaner housing to expel dust, oil and/or water ac-
cumulated inside.
