132 MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT General Lubrication Lubricate the points shown below, with either motor oil or regular grease, in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart or whenever the vehicle has been operated under wet or rainy conditions, and especially after using a high-pressure spray washer. Before lubricating each part, clean off any rusty spots with rust remover and wipe off any grease, oil, dirt, or grime. NOTE żAfter connecting the cables, adjust them. j NOTE żA few drops of oil are effective in keeping bolts and nuts from rusting and sticking. This makes removal easier. Badly rusted nuts, bolts, etc., should be replaced with new ones. żBrake Lever żBrake Pedal żReverse Lock Release Lever żClutch Lever żParking Brake Lever Apply grease to the following points: żThrottle Inner Cable Upper End żClutch Inner Cable Upper End Apply motor oil to the following pivots: Lubricate the following cables with a pressure cable luber żClutch Inner Cable żThrottle Inner Cable

MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT

General Lubrication
Lubricate the points shown below, with either mo-
tor oil or regular grease, in accordance with the Peri-
odic Maintenance Chart or whenever the vehicle has
been operated under wet or rainy conditions, and es-
pecially after using a high-pressure spray washer.
Before lubricating each part, clean off any rusty
spots with rust remover and wipe off any grease, oil,
dirt, or grime.
NOTE
°
A few drops of oil are effective in keeping bolts
and nuts from rusting and sticking. This makes re-
moval easier. Badly rusted nuts, bolts, etc., should
be replaced with new ones.
Apply motor oil to the following pivots:

Brake Lever
°
Brake Pedal
°
Reverse Lock Release Lever
°
Clutch Lever
°
Parking Brake Lever
Apply grease to the following points:
°
Throttle Inner Cable Upper End
°
Clutch Inner Cable Upper End
Lubricate the following cables with a pressure
cable luber
°
Clutch Inner Cable
°
Throttle Inner Cable
NOTE
°
After connecting the cables, adjust them.
