GENERAL INFORMATION 33 WARNING HAZARD Inattentive operation in "R" (Reverse). Backing up without looking where you are going. WHAT CAN HAPPEN Inattentive operation in "R" (Reverse) could cause you to hit a person or obstacle behind you, resulting in severe personal injury or death. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD Before shifting into "R" (Reverse), make sure there are no people or obstacles behind you, and then proceed at a safe speed. Always look where you are going, whether forward or in reverse. j Fuel Tank Filling the Tank: Only use gasoline with the recommended octane rating (See next page.) Avoid filling the tank in the rain or where heavy dust is blowing so that the fuel does not get contaminated. Never fill the tank completely to the top. As the fuel expands in a warm tank, it may overflow from the vent hose. After refueling, make sure the filler cap is closed securely. NOTICE When changing gears, press firmly on the shift pedal to ensure complete, positive shifting. and then proceed at a safe speed.

NOTICE
When changing gears, press firmly on the
shift pedal to ensure complete, positive shift-
ing.
Careless, incomplete shifts can cause
the transmission to jump out of gear and lead
to engine damage.
Fuel Tank
Filling the Tank:
