26 GENERAL INFORMATION j GENERAL INFORMATION Indicator Lights The indicator lights are mounted at the middle of the handlebars. Fill the fuel as soon as possible because there is no reserve tank in this vehicle (see the Fuel Tank section). Reverse: When the transmission is in reverse gear, the reverse indicator light is lit. Neutral: When the transmission is in neutral, the neutral indicator light is lit. Coolant Temperature Warning Light/FI Warning Light: Engine Coolant Overheating The coolant temperature warning light goes on whenever the coolant temperature rises too high while the vehicle is in operation. If it stays on, stop the engine and check the following items after the engine cools down. Radiator grill Coolant level and its quality Cooling fan Refer to the TROUBLESHOOTING chapter and Cooling System section in the MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT chapter for more details. A. Indicator Lights
The indicator lights are mounted at the middle of
the handlebars.
A. Fuel Warning Light
B. Reverse Indicator Light
C. Neutral Indicator Light
D. Coolant Temperature Warning Light/FI Warning
Light
Fuel Warning Light:
The fuel warning light goes on when the remaining
fuel in the tank has become 2 litters (0.5 US gal).
Fill the fuel as soon as possible because there is
no reserve tank in this vehicle (see the Fuel Tank
section).
Reverse:
When the transmission is in reverse gear, the re-
verse indicator light is lit.
Neutral:
When the transmission is in neutral, the neutral
indicator light is lit.

The coolant temperature warning light goes on
