38 GENERAL INFORMATION the engine, shift the engine stop switch to the "OFF" position. Although the engine stop switch stops the engine, it does not turn off all the electrical circuits. If the engine stop switch is used, be sure to turn off the ignition switch after stopping the vehicle. j NOTE żFor the electric starter to operate, the engine stop switch must be set to the "RUN" position, the ignition switch must be turned to the "ON" position, and the clutch must be pulled in, if the shift control is in a position other than "N" (neutral). For the electric starter to operate, the engine stop
switch must be set to the “RUN” position, the ig-
nition switch must be turned to the “ON” position,
and the clutch must be pulled in, if the shift control
is in a position other than “N” (neutral).
